In its 8th year, WSHS Robotics is an after-school, STEM-based student extracurricular program. With 65 students from all walks of life and high school disciplines, WSHS Robotics offers students the chance to prove that they have what it takes to design a robot from scratch and compete against any team in the state for the right to move on to the VEX World Robotics Championships. The team is structured into nine squads, each with its own plan for success. WSHS robots have had tremendous success qualifying for both state and national competitions for many years running. Additionally, WSHS teams have won design awards at the VEX World Robotics Championships in each of the past three years in recognition of the outstanding engineering and design work completed by our students.
