WSHS Counseling Mission Statement

The Counseling Department shares the mission of Woodbridge High School in providing an environment of learning that builds bridges, closes gaps and leaves legacies. Through educational exploration, the Counseling Department will ensure all students create a postsecondary plan encompassing future goals, interests and aspirations through educational and career exploration. A comprehensive school counseling curriculum, emphasizing the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model, will be delivered by counselors to students through an understanding of their academic, social-emotional and career goals relative to their own unique life plan.

WSHS Counseling Vision Statement

Woodbridge High School Counselors are dedicated to helping students of diverse backgrounds. Students are encouraged to embrace talents and become productive members of a global society. Counselors will assist students in recognizing that behaviors and decisions made today will impact future opportunities and ultimately determine their role(s) in the world.
