My student was late arriving to school, how do I submit an excused note?

  • Email [email protected] from the email account associated with your ParentVUE account.
  • Place your student’s LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, and ABSENCE in the subject line.
    • Example: SMITH, JOHN - ABSENCE
  • In the body of the email:
    • Provide your child’s first name, last name, grade and Student ID.
    • Provide the date(s) or periods of absences.
    • Provide the reason for the absence.
      • Examples of an excused tardy can include anything from the reasons above, and also any emergency situations arising from unusual weather conditions.
  • Excuse notes should be submitted within five (5) days of the absence.

 

My student was late from one class to the next, how do I submit an excused note?

  • Student tardies between class changes are not excused. If your student has an extenuating circumstance please reach out to their alpha administrator.

 

My student was marked absent from class, but they were present. How do I fix this?

  • You will need to contact the teacher. Only the classroom teacher will be able to verify this error and submit a correction.
