The Woodbridge Senior High School JROTC program successfully completed its JPA inspection on 17 March 2026, earning a final overall score of 99%. The cadet battalion demonstrated exceptional performance across all evaluated areas, including Cadet Leadership and Training, Continuous Improvement, Service Learning, and Portfolio Reviews. Cadets showcased outstanding discipline, professionalism, and mastery of required knowledge and skills. All inspected portfolios met or exceeded Cadet Command standards, and the battalion's staff delivered a highly effective briefing that reflected strong organizational management and an understanding of unit operations. The drill and ceremony evaluation demonstrated excellent precision, teamwork, and command presence, further reinforcing the unit’s high level of preparedness.
Due to the unit’s superior performance and exemplary adherence to all standards, the program maintains its Honor Unit with Distinction (HUD) – Gold Star status for the next three school years. The inspection team based at Fort Bragg, NC commended the cadets for their confidence, professionalism, and clear pride in their program. The unit’s strong leadership development culture, academic integration, and commitment to community service were highlighted as notable strengths.
