The Pathways to Global Citizenship program at Woodbridge High School seeks to encourage students to identify and engage with topics of global significance within their area of interest. Each pathway allows students to develop and refine their skills in collaboration both in the classroom and in the community, critical thinking, research, evaluation, and synthesis of their own ideas. Students in the Pathways to Global Citizenship program will select a pathway and engage in required coursework within the pathway.
The Pathways to Global Citizenship program at Woodbridge High School will allow students to engage in academically rigorous coursework within a specific subject area or a high demand/high need career field while also preparing students to be a strong candidate for acceptance into a four-year college/university.
WSHS offers four pathways for students to choose from. As part of the specialty program application process, students may apply to up to three programs in total, and each WSHS pathway selected counts as one program choice. Therefore, students may apply to one, two, or up to three WSHS pathways, depending on how they choose to use their three available program selections.
Each pathway requires students to engage not only in coursework specific to that pathway but also in Advanced Placement coursework.
Specialty program applications will be accepted November 2, 2026 - February 1, 2027.
Visit the Specialty Programs Application Process website to learn more about the application process.
