Bridge Bulletin 1.15.2022

Message from Mrs. Abney

I'm at was so wonderful to see students and staff this week after an extended Winter Break.  As a reminder, schools are closed on Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day).  We have included a reminder about Code Orange since inclement weather continues to be in our forecast.  Stay warm!

Code Orange Reminder

When PWCS calls a Code Orange, schools are closed for in-person learning. It is an asynchronous learning day for students and remote work for non-essential employees. Students work remotely to complete assignments at home and study for upcoming quizzes and tests.  Please see our website for more information.

Keeping everyone healthy

As a reminder, please make sure to keep your children at home when sick. We have all seen the numbers with this new Covid variant and we want to do everything we can to keep everyone healthy. Here is the home screening information provided by PWCS:  pwcshomescreening . If your student must miss school, please email the attendance office at [email protected] OR update the attendance in ParentVue.

Early Dismissals are Online

To alleviate overcrowding in our main office, please remember to utilize the attendance email for early dismissals or other attendance concerns: [email protected]. When dismissals are requested in advance (2 hour minimum), your student will receive a pass to meet you outside at the designated time.  If you do need to pick up your child in person for an early dismissal without prior notice, please plan on a 30-minute wait.
